Area FAM Trip Highlights
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater has just begun a series of FAMs that will highlight our destination and focus on specific themes. Our first in the series was our Girlfriend Getaway "Spa-tacular" FAM focusing on our Spa Resorts. It was a great success. See below what your colleagues have said, where they went and what they've learned.
Stay tuned to our website often because more and more opportunities will be coming up to participate. We are looking at areas such as Golfing/Fishing, Culinary, and Family Travel to name a few.

Where do I begin? Being pampered, wined and dined, doesn't get much better. The spa treatments were divine, the meals delicious and the company great fun. Seeing downtown St. Pete was a treat. The trip to the DALI Museum was quite enlightening. I can't wait to sell the area as a "Girls Spa Trip.

My Aunt and Uncle treated me to my first trip to Florida as a young girl. More than a hundred visits later, I have found the Florida that I fell in love with. I am not sure if it is the pristine beaches or the historic communities and resorts. Maybe it is the warmth and friendliness of the people. Perhaps the Clearwater Beach artists, street (beach) performers and vendors brought the memories back. I could not relive my childhood, but the spa services gave me the opportunity to relax and reflect. I left each spa with a "youthful glow" inside and out. When someone wants to experience the Florida that I fell in love with, I will recommend that they visit the St Petersburg/Clearwater area to take advantage of the spa services and to capture their own fond memories.

Day 1: After "Breakfast at Tiffany's" came shopping followed by the Don Cesar Resort & Spa for some spa and relax time. Dinner was aboard the Starlight Princess, an old-fashioned paddleboat dinner/dance cruise where I saw my first dolphin! Day 2: After spoiling us with fresh fruit and mimosas, I had an invigorating and energizing spa treatment at the Opulent Sandpearl Resort, our host hotel, lunch outside on the Verandah of the Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa, and enjoyed more luxurious spa treatments at the historic Safety Harbor Resort & Spa. Day 3: Visited downtown St. Petersburg via the trolley, enjoyed breakfast at the grand Renaissance Vinoy, toured the Salvador Dali Museum before our final Spa treatment offered by Antonio's Salon and Day Spa located at the Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach.
This was a great trip for girls, getaways and giggles. I would definitely be recommending this area for a girlfriend getaway and a spa retreat.
